Eagle is a beautiful and quaint town situated on the Boise River ten miles northwest of downtown Boise. With foothills to the north and the Boise River running through the central and southern parts of town, nature has created a beautiful setting for Eagle's homes. It is one of the most sought-after places in the Treasure Valley. Nearby you will find world-class skiing, whitewater rafting, and wilderness areas for camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and rock climbing.

Some of the best restaurants in Eagle are Crave, Rembrandts, Coynes, and Bardenay. Crave is super stylish and offers a globally eclectic menu, and it is a trendy place for brunch. In the warmer months, Crave has a rooftop deck with breath-taking views, making it the perfect place for a date night. You will find Rembrandts in an old church building in the heart of Eagle. This vibrant and funky restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and has a delightful outdoor patio. Coynes Restaurant and Bar is known for its excellent grass-fed steaks and superb cocktails. The restaurant has a warm and casual atmosphere. Bardenay has a classy and rustic ambiance and features an eclectic menu of American, Mexican, and Asian-inspired fare. 

Most of the entertainment in Eagle comes in the form of outdoor adventures. This is the place for taking in the beauty of nature and enjoying outdoor activities. Eagle has a movie theater,  The Eagle Luxe Reel Theater, but most entertainment and nightlife will be found in nearby Boise.

As with entertainment, most of the best shopping venues are found in nearby Boise or Meridian. Downtown Eagle does have some quaint shopping areas with one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques, like ChambRaye and Urban Casuals. The Eagle Saturday Market at Heritage Park is a fantastic place for fresh produce, arts & crafts, herbs, flowers, and specialty food items.

Eagle is the perfect place for those who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers and close to Boise, there is something for everyone. 

Eagle Island State Park offers disc golf, fishing, paddle sports, swimming, and playgrounds. Kids love Guerber Park with its vibrant playground and splash pad. 

Heritage Park is the location of the Eagle Saturday Market, where residents can purchase local produce, herbs, flowers, arts & crafts, and specialty food items. The Boise River Greenbelt is one of the most beloved parks in the region. The Greenbelt is a paved hiking and biking trail along the banks of the winding Boise River. It is the most popular park for walking, biking, and skating. The trail winds through several towns and offers shops and cafes along the way. 

The Eagle Sports Complex is a popular family spot offering bike trails, a BMX track, an RC track, a skate park, and basketball courts. Golf enthusiasts are treated to some of the country's most stunning and picturesque courses. Eagle has several courses of its own and is within ten miles of many more, including Eagle Hills Golf Course, BanBury Golf Course, The Club at Spurwing, Shadow Valley Golf Course, and River Birch Golf Course. The town also offers the Eagle Tennis Club, a popular venue for tennis, pickleball, fitness classes, and beach volleyball. The Eagle Rodeo is a fun summertime destination featuring rodeo events, food, and music. Eagle Fun Days in July is a fantastic annual event with fireworks, a parade, and live music.
